Under the direction of the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager ensures that the store is dedicated to meeting the equipment rental and supply/merchandise needs of contractor companies, industrial and commercial companies, and homeowners. Hourly Pay Range: Starts at: $28 or more Dependent on Experience Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas and/or fumes.Ability to climb over and into heavy equipment several times per day.Ability to sit for at least 4 hours per day.Occasional use of foot/feet to operate foot pedal on equipment.Ability to bend, kneel, walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least 4 hours per day.Activities requiring handling and grasping with the hands when restocking shelves, loading and unloading equipment, processing customer transactions.Frequent lifting up to 40 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., and infrequent lifting up to 75 lbs.Is able to effectively perform in a high paced busy environment.Knowledge and experience in the equipment rental industry preferred.Strong sales and customer service experience.Perform any other duties as assigned by the General ManagerĮducation, Experience and Required Skills, Including Certificates, Licenses and Registrations.Train and/or assist employees in learning essential job functions.Approval of employee timecards and vacation requests.Follow all Cresco Operational Procedures and QC Standards.Inspect equipment and trucks for safety decals and compliance, and ensure that equipment is in good working order.Check equipment for damage, record hours used, mileage and fuel levels for billing purposes.Load and unload equipment, assist with deliveries and prepare equipment for rental.Determine equipment available for rental.May assist in educating customers on equipment use and demonstrating equipment for customers.Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customer needs.Handle Dispatch Responsibilities as needed.Greet customers and assist with customer inquiries.
